Fresh cuts from Limedrop

Have you ever seen childhood prints fused with charm? You have now… these sneak peeks from the Spring/Summer 2006-2007 collection from Limedrop is a refreshing blend of playful prints and mature style. Suitably named ‘I Fell in Love with my Librarian’, the collection features stenciled details creating a quirky edge that holds on to memories of childhood fun and games. It’s sweatshop free and the label was born in Brisbane, but creators Clea Garrick and Nathan Price have since relocated to Melbourne to continue expanding their ideas and designs.

Clea and Nathan are qualified in fashion design and marketing/management respectively, and they’re an unstoppable duo. They’ve been engaged for six years and have already made significant achievements since founding Limedrop in 2004. Achievements include:

  • Finalist for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Start-up Competition, 2005
  • Fashion co-ordinators for Straight Out Ot Brisbane (SOOB) festival, 15-20 August 2006
  • Selected for Fashion Exposed Trade Fair in Melbourne, 3-5 September 2006.

With unique styles, quality materials and a great fit, Limedrop is a sought-after label making a huge impression on the Aussie indy scene.
